Still in the bid phase?  Alaska Film Services can help you estimate production costs for shooting in the last frontier. We can provide accommodation info, crew contacts and rates, equipment sources, location logistics, rental services, transportation and more.  We can fill in the blanks as you plot your production up north.

Location Scouting & Management

Twenty-six states fit into Alaska, so let us cut it down to size before the scouts head out. We can search, sort and send file images from our vast location database. Then we'll hit the ground running, find your dream location, handle the logistics, the permitting and bring your vision to life.

Casting: SAG & Real People

We know people it’s that simple. Alaska is rich in character and diversity and our 5000 strong database reflects that.  It includes SAG, Non-SAG, Background, Alaska Natives, Athletes, Bikers, Explorers, Fishermen, Models and everything in between. Our Casting Director is the only CSA certified CD in the state.

Permitting

Alaska is 586,412 Sq. miles of public, private, municipal, Native, federal and state lands each with separate rules for permits and permissions. We have relationships with ALL of them. It takes time, contacts, experience and diligence. Let us take the work and the worry out of the permit process for you.

Alaskan crews are extra tough. They work hard in spite of wind chills and plummeting temps. They come to set equipped, experienced and ready to bring their best to your shoot.
